One of my favorite things is when a Worth1000 entry gets examined by Snopes. Some past Snopes graduates include giant skeletons, pickled frogs, and even a bear attack. Here's a more complete list of W1K entries that made the Snopes list. Now, imagine my delight as I find that Snopes has chosen a second entry of mine for their debunking. It's morbid, but I like it!
There should be special "Snopes Bling" Congrats though. That is cool.

Sure, but the only way you could accept it would be through a pop-up ad. That's the only lingering thing I hate about Snopes :(

Was the image addressed anywhere in their FauxTography forum? If it was, I'd love to see that, but I can't find it. Congrats on duping the gullible once again, Harry; that's a 2x feather, of which to be proud.[Edited by User on 2/4/2012 12:35:35 AM]

What's a pop-up ad?*cough*adblock*cough*Aaaaaaaaanyway.Congrats Harry! No offense to your chop, but daayum, people are stupid.

There's no accounting for stoopid! It's everywhere!

Pop-up ads are a late-20th-century Internet innovation which attempt to draw attention away from... oh wait. What? An early 21st-century inoculation against them exists? Well...Get off my lawn with your modern solutions to inconveniences! As to "daayum, people are stupid", I backspaced everything I'd originally typed about that above, because it wasn't appropriate for this venue. But, yeah.

For shame! ;)
Haha. I like that people are actually asking if this is for real.
Yup, people are amazing! On a side note, did you know that if you say the word "gullible" very slowly, it sounds like "oranges?"
I use Firefox with adbuster. No popups. :D
Ah, now I have a new goal in life. To join such an elite club as this.(well I can hope can't I ?)
Someone emailed me a series of pictures, the first of which was Kooka's stack of quarters. Naturally, the Worth1000 was cropped off. I forwarded it to her.
Would love to see a contest dedicated entirely to creating images that are snopes worthy
We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.We try.
Congrats to batbrat, who is the latest snopes awardee!
