Gave him a new paint job and a new home. If anyone has any tips on how to make the paint look more like paint (without making him look old...would defeat the point), that'd be great.Sources: This toy chest and much coloring and blending.
nice job
I think it looks good, but the doll seems kinda "flat"
cute
Why's the shadow of the bear on a different side of the doll?
The doll looks a little too defined for me especially around the head area - even when viewing full it didnt change much, but I think you made a wonderful effort :)
perspective is wrong: the doll looks flat
You know why he looks flat? Lack of shading and highlights.Take the dodge tool, set it to a soft brush, midtones, about 20% exposure, and gently brush down the center of his arm, the top right of his forehead, until you get a soft highlight. Then give the down side of his head more shading to add depth. The colors coming thru the slats is a wise detail. Good going there!
i like it, but the toy looks too 2d. nice work over all.
