Author's Note: The "classic" choice, I think. Taken at f/7.1 with a shutter speed of one second. There are two light sources; strobe effect with the flash (6 flashes per second--only 3 in the image; multiple, blurred, hands cropped) and a second, constant, light source that reflects the "trail" of the coin. I did not use this second light initially, so the coin was just frozen in air. I like this one better. The coin is a Susan B. Anthony golden dollar, hence the gold tones.
This photo took at least 250 to 300 attempts. I have no clue if this one landed "heads" or "tails".
