In the beginning Women created the heavens and the earth. Now, the earth was a hollow ball floating around in space.
Woman said, “let there be light,” and there was light. She separated the light from the darkness and called the light, “family time,” and the darkness she called “bedtime.” And it was so.
Woman said, “Let there be space between the waters.” She called the expanse, “sky” and painted the sky beautiful colors in the morning and at night so that the people could enjoy romantic sunrises and sunsets with one another. And it was so.
Woman said, “Let dry ground appear, and let there be hills for children to run and play on.” Woman called the ground “land,” the waters, “seas” and the places where they meet, “beaches.” She envisioned couples holding hands and walking on the beach under the sun-setting sky, having a lovely time together. And it was so.
Woman said, “Let the land produce fruits and vegetables so that my man may take me out to dinner. Let there be flowers for him to bring me when we go on a date. Let there be trees for our children to climb.” And it was so.
Woman said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky. I shall call those lights “stars” and the “moon” and they will provide a romantic atmosphere after the sunset. And it was so.
Woman said, “Let there be living creatures so that my family and I may have pets. Let there be other creatures for my man to hunt and BBQ for me on hot summer days. Let there be birds in the air that I may marvel at as they feed from my birdfeeders. Let there be no snakes, spiders, or dirty rodents to scare us.” And it was so.
Woman said, “Let man be created in our image, our likeness, and let him rule over us. He will be sensitive, yet strong; soft-spoken, yet strong-willed. He will always put down the toilet seat. He will spend his days working to provide us with the material things that we desire. His nights will be spent telling us how beautiful we are and how much he loves us. He will bring home chocolates and chick flicks so that we may cuddle on the couch for hours. He will always look out for our needs above his own. He will not need friends of his own, as he will devote all of his time to us. And it was so.
Woman said, “Let there be malls and shopping centers. Let there be many shoe stores, and an ice cream shop on every corner. Let there be spas and hair salons so that we may look and feel beautiful. And it was so.
Woman said, “Let there be a convertible for every woman and an SUV for ever man. Let the roads be colored pink and the sidewalks purple.
Woman saw all that she had created, and it was good.
