Author's Note: With a naturally gaseous metabolism, the blue blimp whale found a new niche in commercial flight. After disastrous tests in the early 50's in Russia, the US pumped new life in the project, putting the whales on a strict diet of beans, enhancing the whale's natural ability to float.
It is expected that in 50 years time the seafaring blue whale will be extinct due to poaching and overfishing, the blue whale's adaptation to this threat shows nature's ways of preserving preciously evolved lifeforms.
