Author's Note: This is the most divine sipping beverage there is. Poured over ice, or even ice cream, it's got to be heaven in a bottle!
The Marula berries fall from the trees and ferment, and elephants and monkeys are known to eat them and get intoxicated, resulting in some rather funny movies having been shot, with drunken animals as the stars of the show!
(For those non-SA people out there, and I know there are plenty, it's like Bailey's Irish Cream, only smoother! It's now exported and should be available at your nearest bottle shop / off-license / liquor store / bar, so I recommend you go give it a try!)
