Author's Note: I think only the Dutch visitors to this contest will appreciate and understand the joke of this picture, so therefore a little explanation is in place:
In the Netherlands these type of mushrooms are called "Champignons" which is pronounced almost the same as "Champions". I hope that my entry is still accepted for this.
With the upcoming World Championship Soccer next month in Germany the hopes are high that we will win. Ever since we lost from our neighbours the Germans in the finals of 1974 it has been out 'national trauma' and this championship is ideal to get even.
I thought it was funny to depict our national team as the 'champions/champignons'.
