It is happening right now in the company that I work for.
The Indian Engineer is a picture that I took of a co-worker; the gears at the top come from a screen capture of some compound planetary gear set that I created at work. Although the engineering outsourcing is going on in the company that I work for; feel no pity as I have not been laid off. At least not yet! So far, they are using attrition to open positions in India.
