Author's Note: I spent a good deal of time working on various layers to connect the subjects and create an illusion of depth. The greatest challenge was placing a layer with smoke and hair in front of Penn. New for me in this work was using Photoshop's "Match Color" feature to get Penn's skin tone to match Gandalf's.
