Author's Note: As kids we caught a rock cod at the local beach, kept him as a pet, and named him "General".
One night he jumped from his tank, and landed on my bed (scary at the time to be sharing a pillow with a mobile fish :D )
Not sure if this happened more than once; the details are hazy, but it's a fond childhood memory.
