Author's Note: Onos T'oolan is a T'lan Imass. A race of magical Neanderthal type people who under took a necromantic ritual and are unable tro die. In addition, they are able to return to the ground and travel vast distances as dust.
Onos T'oolan and other T'lan Imass appear in Steven Ericson's Malazan Books of the Fallen . In my opinion one of the best series of fantasy books ever written.
