Author's Note: Uncle Andy and his Magical Portmanteau
Uncle Andy has a seemingly endless supply of nieces and nephews all over the world. Each episode opens with him knocking on the door of a house, where is warmly greeted by his relatives.
Soon, we see him bringing his suitcase into a room of children, where he always says "Where do you want to go today?"
Once the case has been opened, they are transported to a play land of knights and princesses, or a circus big top, or a South American rain forest, or the cab of a locomotive - any of the adventures kids dream about.
There are always mishaps (although no one is hurt) and some minor disaster (spilled grape juice for example) always closes the adventure down. The last scene is always Andy being booted out of the house by the non-adventurous adult.
