CASE NOTES: The SKORPAZOiD FiLE

12 November 1888:
Brilliant, charismatic but controversial scientist, Dr. Victor Scorpington, mysteriously vanishes from London Victorian society.

13 November 1988 - 100 years later
First appearance of DOKTOR SKORPAZOiD!

Coincidence? No, not really...
SCORPINGTON iS SKORPAZOiD!!
Yes - but a hideously mutated, criminally psychotic version of his former self.

SKORPAZOiD FACTS:
- immune to aging process
- immune to need for sleep
- can regenerate own body parts
- injects victims with smelly venom through repulsive scorpionic tail
- toxins can induce death, complete apathy or a mind-controlled zomboid state
- victims are specially selected for scientific research, "entertainment", or simply as a nutritious snack

NEWSFLASH 2009:
Recent intelligence suggests SKORPAZOiD is genetically engineering an invincible army of human/animal hybrids. He plans to annihilate the human race and repopulate the planet with stupid Duck-People.

Somebody better do something - and QUACK!

I mean quick.

BACKSTORY
Scorpington (b. 1862) well bred, highly educated medical maverick; celebrated for groundbreaking “limb-regeneration” therapy and research into new Genetical Sciences.

His achievements became overshadowed by dark rumours of diabolical arrogance, sinister self-experimentation and disturbingly deviant deeds.

As his fame and notoriety peaked, Scorpington claimed his latest discoveries would “reinvent our species...permanently remove weakness such as the need for sleep... halt the aging process...offer eternal life”.

But his messianic message of scientific salvation would never be taken seriously.

Shortly before publishing evidential Scientific Papers, Scorpington was struck-off the Medical Register, accused of “experiments involving none-consenting patients”. His proof never went to press.

Meanwhile, his nocturnal visits to London’s Whitechapel district had aroused police interest and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

But it was already too late.
Dr. Scorpington had vanished.

The rest is history. Erm, except in the future.
