Author's Note: I made my own burlap flag for a prop, woke up extra early, and rode my bike out to a place where I would't get any ugly urban artifacts in the picture. I tried to get the flag to wave right in front of the sun, but couldn't quite get it; this is a common problem when I have to use myself in the picture.
