Author's Note: Light from a laser pointer shining through my fingers and reflecting back onto my face.
Fun to try, but waaaaaay harder than I thought to actually execute. Had to do all of this, more or less:
1) Camera on tripod, figure basic position for face and hand
2) Turn lights off, get into position
3) In bulb mode, remotely trigger shutter
4) Place hand in front of face, and with other hand covered in dark cloth, place laser pointer behind fingers, turn on and trace
5) Pull pointer back to reflect against palm to shine back on face
6) Remotely close shutter
7) Try many times until it works
I don't expect this to do well here, but at least wanted to share since I thought it an interesting idea. Would really love to hear from anyone who tries this.
