Author's Note: Dateline 21 Dec, (AP) Old man arrested when he crashed his sleigh into (and thus destroyed) the famous "North Pole" landmark, police asssumed he must have had a few too many peppermint schnapps. They figured one of the reindeer seen near the site finished off any remaining liquor, as he had a very red nose. They are also checking out local stores to determine whether to charge the man with theft, as there was a bag full of toys found in the back of his sleigh.
