Author's Note: An island made of food!
My family and I went to the outdoor Farmer's Market and picked up my edible ingredients. I colored my mashed potatoes green with food coloring for the ground and my pond was done with water and blue food coloring. I used a piece of plastic wrap to hold the liquid.
