Author's Note: I made this as a tribute piece to a teacher of mine after hearing his son had been stillborn. Their son, whom they named Andrew, was to be their first child. It has been difficult since the loss of the son they never really got a chance to know, so I decided to make this. It depicts the three of them holding hands in a way that, I hope, shows the bond between the three of them. It'd be great if I could get some more general feedback on a way to preserve quality when scanning/photographing drawings. I used graphite pencils, charcoal, and mechanical pencil for the sketch.
