Author's Note: I'm so glad there was a woodworking contest to enter!
My box is primarily of Brazillian rosewood, with red oak and poplar inlays on the top. The angle cuts for the trapezoidal top pieces were the hardest, and the 1/8 inch box joints on the main body took a lot of tuning with the router. I opted for a green felt base on the inside bottom of the box.
