Author's Note: This huge dragon was built on the Voxelbox to demonstrate that it is possible to use suspended sand in structures. The entirety of the creature is supported by either buttons, sandstone or more sand. It is possible to make the buttons invisible by turning them into ladders with Voxel Sniper (a plugin), but I preferred the looks when buttons were re-skinned as sand. A top down perspective has been given to show how it camouflages itself into it's environment.
I read up on human, bird and dragon anatomy to give myself and idea on the bones needed, then constructed them by hand ingame. No binvox or schematics were used, because that's uncreative :P
It can be seen on the Voxelbox, while travelling on the S-Line to Lehmann Airfield. I used the Voxelbox Creative texture pack, with modified smooth stone to sand. No Smooth stone was used in the construction of it because of this.
