Author's Note: First Entry.
I Know logos don't need to be explained they just need to work well, catch the eye and look good. But its always nice to have some meaning, so here it goes:
Different metallic material textures, such as aluminum, steel and gold sets the tone. The pick axe shape symbolizes the mining trade, it can also remind of an umbrella a symbol of protection and safety wich is always good concepts when investments come to mind. Finaly the gold texture has some duality in its meaning, gold is a mining product and a symbol of wealth, prosperity and money. Also nice thoughts when considering investments.
Anyway, I hope you all like it. I think this logo would look great on brochures, business cards, signs, etc..
