Surrounded by nothing, yet
surrounded by everything.
We're in a green sea of
ordered chaos:
always moving, but
always right where it should be.
The blades flicker like
a million cool, soft flames
trying feebly to light the air.
A sea of blue rests on a sea of green,
filling around us but never drowning us.
Both go on forever--we're doubly shipwrecked, but
couldn't care less.
Like modern day messiahs,
we walk on the water
into the sunset.
Surrounded by nothing, yet
surrounded by everything.
