Author's Note: Rather rushed entry for the contest,..The amazing Pacman, with a friendly, totally not pacman-killing creature over a stylish blue fence-thing.This is nothing as monumental like my pervious entry, the Colloss.I'm experimenting with various mods that ease the building a LOT, so yay.But why is it not something monumental...?
Well...Funny story to that, since it wasn't suposed to be Pacman at all.
At the start of the week, I was like, omgyay, video gamez, lets make an....AMAZING GORDON FREEMAN STATUE!!!!1ONE!!L!"!
And well...Since you are seeying a Pacman pictures, you can figure the outcome of that idea.
I began building really big, big, orange leg of Gordon, just to be surprised there actually is some build height limit.I didn't really build anything so big before, so it was quite nice surprise for me.You can feast your eyes on the leg here: http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/5499/javaw2011041021173316.png
After such a dissapointing news, I decided to make smaller statue, now defining the size perfectly.Everything went smooth and nice, when SUDDENLY, on Saturday, I thought that putting LAVA inside of his head was a brilliant idea.
. . . Yes, I'm that dumb.Ofcourse, 90% of the statue was made of wool, which BURNS.Another 8% was made of Gravel, which FALLS if it loses it's support.So yes, after kindly killing me, the lava went off to devour the poor Gordon.Luckily, I tossed one water bucket out when I began to burn, so, a bit of Gordon's right leg survived.Oyay.Have some pictures, here:
