Author's Note: This hard working man has the early stages of dementia and this was to be the last time he would be helping his sons in the shearing shed. He started his working life as a kid in the same shed, and after all these years and all his recent muddles it was a joy to witness him working. He was at home and his actions seemed so automatic and natural.
