Author's Note:

I got this idea after thinking about Don Ameche and Ralph Ballamy when I was perusing pictures and hit on the one you see in the middle of the poster. If you look at old comedy posters of the time, and then look at the poster for the original movie, I think you will find this to be a decent enough backward extrapolation.

For those of you who think putting Audrey Hepburn in the role, and in the picture that I did from Trading Places, is blasphemy, let's try to remember that she was a whore (literally) in Breakfast at Tiffany's. (and, she was the only actress from the time that I could think of who was a Jamie Lee Curtis-type).

None of Akroyd's scenes from the movie were visually memorable except the one with him in a santa suit, but that didn't really fit in with the motif, so the Lewis picture is unaltered, other than being cut into a circle from a square.

Last time, someone told me to fix the eyes, so I did that and a lot of other little things. I hope everyone notices the attention to detail, despite the simplistic style (I restricted myself to 1 color, sans black and white, thinking the graphic artists at the time were often handcuffed like this, especially for a comedy) and understands that "floating text", in this case, was purposeful to give the poster that 40s/50s feel..

Hopefully there's another fan out there who will enjoy this as much as I did. Please let me know what you think I can do to improve (feel free to be harsh. I don't take it personally). The white line in the middle is supposed to be a fold line. Redd Foxx's name is purposefully small and not included with the others, but Ralph Ballamy's face looking washed out a bit, is not on purpose...best I could do and I couldn't find another picture that worked (also, his ears grew substantially in his old age...I still had to give Ralph a fixin). I gave Redd Foxx the beard because I am not good enough to "young-ify" him as he needed, so I did a bit of that, and then covered up my lack of ability with the beard (I think tricks like this are common, but in case anyone is wondering...). I think that's it...

***I didn't think the hands over boobs was "mature", unless there are a string of 5-year-olds popping into this site. Even at work, I don't believe anyone with the ability to use the internet would feel this was unsafe. If I'm wrong, though, I truly apologize.
