Starting with the original image

And ending with the required finished image

'Even a broken clock is right twice a day'

First I copied the original background as a new layer and named it "Invisible" and then hid the original background clicking the hide layer icon in the layer pallete.

Next, on the new "invisible" layer I started to rebuild the background as if it was just wallpaper in the background so:

I cloned the background wallpaper and searched google for "satin bedsheets" to aid the rebuild...

Next I unhid the "Original Background" to cut out the shoe like so and saved it as a new layer called "shoe 1"
Once done i then hid the original background again.

I then carried on rebuilding the shoe, again using google images as an aid.

Cutting out the found shoe and pasting it as a new layer called :shoe2"

Now for the "trick of the trade part"

I searched google images for "Fishnet Tights" always making sure that the search is set to "large images"and found this image

I opended the image in Photoshop and then set the image to "black and white"

Image>adjustment>black and white

Next I clicked on the brushes icon and then went to:
Edit>show all menus>define brush preset

A pop up box appears and i then named the "NEW BRUSH" as Fishnets !

So the original image of fishnets has now become part of your "Brush set"

See where i'm going !

Now return to your original work and create a new layer called "Fishnets"

Go to your brushes and with your newly created "fishnet brush" click on the new layer like so:

Now I started to build the fishnets and shoes to suit............

As a guide every now and then i will unhide the original background as a reference to check everything lines up where i want it to.

I use the "warp tool" to shape the fishnets to suit....

Using parts of original shoe for the back etc

As I go I am using the hard brush tool and warp tool to clean up edges etc...

And thats how I did it

I am working on the same principle to add a "backing" to the fishnet.....

So to sum up the fishnets are a "Brush Tool"
