An introduction to layer effects, a useful tool for adding quick highlights and or shadows to your images

The clone tool is one of the most useful things in Photoshop, but can take some thought to use it effectively.

Whether it's an entire image, or a piece that the extract tool just didn't want to cut out, quickmask is a super precise way to cut things out, and give you some wiggle room to undo and redo things.

There are a lot of different ways to cut out an image, but I found this, when using the right image, is the fastest and most effective

Here I'm going to attempt to show you how I turned a picture of a swimming pool into a picture of the word pool. This tutorial assumes you know your way around the interface and know how to do things like masking and make selections.
I used CS3 for this and warp played a pretty big part so earlier versions might make this difficult.
